Gap Limited and its group companies (including Gap Inc., Gap Taiwan Limited, Gap (Shanghai) Commercial Co., Ltd., Gap (Beijing) Commercial Co., Ltd., collectively "Gap Inc." or Gap), values our customers and respects your privacy. What kind of information does Gap collect?

We may collect the following personal information from you when you visit one of our websites or stores, or social media accounts, place an order online or by phone, make an in-store purchase, save your information with us online, contact us with a question or concern, or participate in a contest, promotion, or survey: your name, email address, postal address, phone number, WeChat account, your gender, age, number of children, children’s birthday, information regarding which website you are visiting (www.gap.cn; www.gap.hk; tw.gap.hk; www.oldnavy.com; www.oldnavy.hk; tw.oldnavy.cn) , your preferred currency, user's session ID gained from cookies, preferred language and interested categories (men’s, women’s, kids girl, kids boy, baby girl, baby boy), and behaviors on Gap\ Gap Outlet\ Old Navy social media official account (including but not limited to WeChat, Weibo, etc.). We also maintain a record of your product interests and the purchases you make online, by phone or in our stores. We may combine all of this information with other information about you that we acquire from joint marketing partners, vendors and from our other Gap Inc. group companies. Your personal information may be stored on servers based in other countries (including the United States), and could be restricted by local laws. In some circumstances it may be necessary for Gap to share your information with particular legal entities, including courts, the executive, regulatory authorities and public bodies. If requested, Gap may need to disclose personal information to these entities. By agreeing to this policy you agree that your personal information may be transmitted to other countries and may be subject to these access requests.

Dose Gap share my information?

We do not sell or rent any information you provided to us to third parties.

In the event of a restructuring or reorganization of our brands and affiliated group companies, we may also transfer your personal data to any actual or proposed assignee, transferee, participant or sub-participant of our rights or business.
